Michael Miller Wins Another Title At Lenox Advisors/NFP New York State Open
In The News
The eight years between wins were a blur after Michael Miller tapped in for par to close out another New York State Open Championship on the famed Black Course at Bethpage State Park.
This one was a runaway.
“I was pretty good, pretty calm,” said Miller, who closed Thursday with a 1-under par 70 and won by seven with a 6-under total of 207. “I actually caught myself after nine holes because I started to think about winning. It’s been a long time since I’ve had this opportunity. There were a couple of chances on the Korn Ferry Tour, but it’s hard to win.”
